Monthly Favourites: October
Another month has come and gone in a bit of a blur and the end of the year is definitely in sight.
Book:
C: Stardust by Neil Gaiman
M: girl, 11 by Amy Suiter Clarke
TV/Movie:
C: As a fan of Hill House and Bly Manor, I knew that I’d enjoy Midnight Mass and very quickly made my way through the series.
M: This month I finally finished How To Get Away With Murder which is definitely one of my favourite shows.
Game:
C: I spent a few days playing Undertale at the beginning of the month.
M: I haven’t played anything game related this month.
Album:
C: I haven’t listened to anything all that regularly this month, but I have had Drive by Alan Jackson stuck in my head for a couple of weeks now.
M: Adele’s highly anticipated new single Easy On Me was released this month which I have had on repeat and I am looking forward to her new album which is coming out next month.
Product:
C: Recently, I’ve swapped out my face wash for Tesco’s Kind and Pure Cleansing Face Wash which feels very gentle on my skin.
M: I have enjoyed using the Garnier SkinActive Refreshing Aloe Toner this month, especially after removing my makeup.
Food:
C: I had a very delicious slice of banana and blueberry loaf (which was basically a light banana bread with blueberries).
M: Working in a restaurant we have been trying a lot of the upcoming items on our Christmas menu. A firm favourite is the mini Croque-En-Bouche Cheesecake.
Place:
C: I’ve had a bit of a busy month and so haven’t managed to go too many places, so the local library is the only place I’ve frequented.
M: A highlight of this month was a girlie shopping and spa trip to Southampton.
