Approached hitchhikers under the guise of giving them means of travel. Weapons of choice were a Browning pistol and a Bowie knife.

WHY

Escalation of crimes throughout his life.

NOW

He has transferred many times between prison and hospitals due to incidents such as swallowing razor blades and going on hunger strike. Died age 74 due to oesophageal and stomach cancer.
