Monthly Favourites: September

September has come to an end. With it, it brings the beginning of autumn, cooler weather and the spooky season. As always, here are our favourites from this month.

Books

C: Danger at Dead Man’s Pass by M.G Leonard and Sam Sedgman

M: With The Fire On High by Elizabeth Acevedo

TV Show

C: I watched the Schumacher documentary on Netflix this month which was a fascinating insight into the racer and the family man.

M: One of my favourite shows has just started again, Silent Witness, which I have been enjoying watching each week.

Game

C: Haven’t really played a huge amount this month. Spent a little time on Stardew Valley but nothing else.

M: I have not played anything this month.

Album

C: Been listening to a lot of soundtrack playlists this month. There’s been no film, in particular, I’ve listened to more than others but I think my favourite piece is the Pirates of the Caribbean medley from the Hans Zimmer Live concert.

M: I have been obsessing over the Unofficial Bridgerton the Musical soundtrack by Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear. I fell in love with the snippets they released on TikTok and now I’m so glad I can listen to the whole thing.

Product

C: I have a really nice smelling hand cream that I love that’s sweet orange and cedarwood scented.

M: I was gifted a FOREO Luna FoFo for my birthday at the beginning of the month and have introduced it into my daily face washing routine. It makes my face feel so fresh after using it and I feel it has definitely started to make a difference when it comes to oiliness.

Food

C: We’ve been growing carrots this year and although they aren’t the biggest of carrots we’ve managed to grow quite a few and I have to say the white and yellow carrots taste amazing.

M: Me and my other half tried five guys for the first time this month which was incredible.

Place

C: It has to be our scavenger hunt/adventure in London. We saw so many places in London that we’d have never seen otherwise and it’s just a fun day following clues around the city.

M: I have to agree with Claire that our day trip to London has definitely been a highlight for me this month. Alongside going to the New Forest for a weekend getaway and seeing one of our favourite comedians, Chris Ramsey, live. It was so amazing to be in a theatre again!
