Monthly Favourites: May

It’s that time again, where we talk about our favourites for the month just gone.

Book:

C: Murder on the Safari Star by M.G.Leonard and Sam Sedgman

M: Killing Mind by Angela Marsons

Television Series:

C: I re-watched The Witcher Netflix series over a couple of evenings this month, other than that, I haven’t really watched any television.

M: I haven’t really watched anything this month other than a comedy on Netflix called Motherland.

Game:

C: I swapped between playing Batman: Arkham Knight (I’m very close to finishing Game+ mode) and Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

M: I don’t think I have played anything this month 😞

Album:

C: I don’t think I can choose an album for this month, I’ve listened to everything and anything. Although,  I did listen to a lot of oliviaalee’s playlists on youtube.

M: Although it has only just come out, Olivia Rodrigo’s debut album SOUR has become a firm favourite already.

Product:

C: Cantu’s leave-in conditioner. I use this every day on my hair (diluted), but I also ran low on the hair custard and used this to bulk it up and it worked wonders.

M: I have started using a new hair serum which I am loving. It is the L’Oréal Elvive Dream Lengths Frizz Killer Serum.

Food:

C: I made fruit gummies this month. I tried blackberry, blueberry and raspberry gummies and they are delicious and a healthy alternative to sugary snacks.

M: I haven’t eaten anything new this month but I did buy myself a bento box for going back to work and I have been loving taking lunch with me rather than eating at work.

Place:

C: The shops are open and things are starting to go back to normal, so we ventured into Brighton for a bit of shopping. It was fun and I loved being able to snoop in the Laines again.

M: Being able to go out and eat, something that we would normally take for granted, felt amazing. I had breakfast with some of the girls from work.
