Monthly Favourites: July

Yet again we are at the end of another month and I just cannot believe how fast 2021 is passing us by!

Book:

C: The Giver by Lois Lowry

M: Run, Rebel by Manjeet Mann 

Tv Show:

C: Loki is my favourite Marvel character, so it was a no-brainer that I was going to watch the series. I’m pretty sure that it’s the only show I’ve watched this month.

M: I have started to watch Shitt’s Creek on Netflix after it was recommended by a colleague at work. If you love a family based comedy this is the show for you.

Game:

C: I got Fall Guys in the Steam summer sale and have played an unhealthy amount of it, despite getting incredibly frustrated at how bad I am.

M: Unfortunately, this month I have not had the chance to play anything.

Album:

C: This month has been more of a playlist month, but I did watch Stromae’s Racine Carrée concert a few times.

M: I haven’t listened to much music this week as I have become very addicted to audiobooks. I seem to put them on whenever I want something on in the background, like when I’m cleaning, cooking or walking to work.

Product:

C: I bought myself some blue-light glasses and whilst it’s too soon to know if they actually make a difference, I really like how they look and the yellow tint to them makes it seem like they’re going to work.

M: As I continue on my hair journey of trying to go longer between washes I have loved using the Elvive Dream Lengths Long Hair Frizz Killer Serum. It works wonders on the days when my ends start to feel quite dry.

Food:

C: One of my absolute favourite foods is yoghurt coated blueberries. Unfortunately, they only come from one shop near us, so I don’t get to have them very often, but I managed to bulk buy a load on my most recent trip.

M: I haven’t really tried anything new this month as I am definitely a creature of comfort when it comes to food. Although I have been loving the odd chocolate Hobnob in the morning with my coffee.

Place:

C: It’s not actually my favourite place as it’s so cut off, but after a year and a half it’s nice to go and see family again. 

M: My other half recently passed his driving test and bought his forts car so we have had a lot more freedom to visit new places. We drove up to the Devil’s Dyke, a national trust location, near to where we live to watch the sunset which was lovely
