August Round-Up
We are storming through the second half of the year and here are just some of our August favourites.
Book:
C: They Both Die At The End by Adam Silvera
M: The Twyford Code by Jane Hallett
TV Show/Film:
C: Recently, I’ve been watching The Sandman on Netflix. As a fan of Neil Gaiman, I knew I would watch this when it came out and it didn’t disappoint. I’ve not read the original source material but now I’m waiting for my reservation of the first book.
M: I am a big fan of the Paper Girls series so I was excited to see the adaptation being released on Amazon. Although slightly apprehensive to watch, I am enjoying it so far.
Music:
C: I’ve been listening to Wanderlust a Spotify playlist for a good portion of time this month. It has some of my favourite artists and is quite a chill, wistful playlist. It’s also making me want to listen to one of my favourite albums, Cleopatra by The Lumineers.
M: I have stumbled back into my comfort rabbit hole that is Taylor Swift. Evermore and Folklore have been on repeat.
Highlight of the Month:
M: I spent some well needed time off work in one of my favourite places, The New Forest.
