June Round-Up

Somehow it is already halfway through the year. June has come to the end and we are at very different stages of our reading goals for this year.

Book:

C: Stardust by Neil Gaiman and illustrated by Charles Vess

M: The only book I’m likely to finish this month is The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Kline so that would have to be my favourite for the month of June.

Tv Show/Film

C: I finally got around to watching Heartstopper. I watched the entire series in one sitting and absolutely plan to watch it again.

M: It would be a tough tie between the new Top Gun: Maverick movie or Hustle starring Adam Sandler. Both are incredible in their own way!

Music:

C: Spotify recommended me a playlist called Villain Mode which I have listened to a lot this month. Also since I watched it I’ve had the Heartstopper soundtrack on quite a bit.

M: The ’Born in the 70s’ playlist on Spotify has been a firm favourite whilst away this month. It is jammed packed with huts from the 80s.

Highlight of the Month:

The highlight of the month for me would have to be my recent trip to Torquay. The weather was incredible and it was lovely to spend time with family.
