Monthly Favourites: August

As Taylor Swift says “August slipped away into a moment of time” and we can’t believe that we’re well and truly into the second part of the year. So, here’s another monthly favourites:

Book:

C: The Dry by Jane Harper

M: The Girls I’ve Been by Tess Sharpe

Tv Show:

C: To keep myself busy through the F1 Summer break, I’ve been rewatching all of this year’s races.

M: I have been religiously binging Scandal all throughout the month of August, watching 4 and a half seasons in total.

Game:

C: F1 2020 my dad plays this game and has a wheel and pedals set up and after ages of seeing it sat in the corner, I thought I’d give it a go. I am absolutely terrible at it.

M: I have recently been using the Daily Theme Crossword app on my phone quite regularly.

Album:

C: I haven’t really listened to any albums properly, but I’ve listened to a lot of songs from Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour.

M: I haven’t really listened to anything new as I am a massive creature of comfort. However, I have been listening to Gi Fletcher’s podcast Happy Mum, Happy Baby.

Product:

C: I am still loving my blue light glasses and with the amount of time I spend looking at a screen, I think I wear them more than my normal glasses.

M: I have recently been using the Herbal Essences Argan Oil Repairing Hair Mask which I have been loving. Bonus, it also smells incredible!

Food:

C: Turkey Schnitzels.

M: I recently made Lamingtons for the blog and for a coconut hater I actually quite liked them.

Place:

C:  I went bowling this month and had a load of fun even if both me and my friend were atrocious at it.

M: This month I went on holiday to the New Forest with my family which was lovely.
