Monthly Favourites: April

Another month of 2021 has come to an end and we want to talk about our monthly favourites.

Book:

C: Sword of Destiny by Andrzej Sapkowski

M: Kill Joy by Holly Jackson

Tv Show:

C: Been enjoying The Falcon and the Winter Soldier this month and only six episodes of Bucky and Sam was cruel.

M: This month, I think alongside the whole of the country, I have been thoroughly enjoying series six of Line of Duty. The anticipation for each weekly episode is agonisingly addictive.

Game:

C: Changed it up a little bit this month and haven’t played too much Stardew Valley, instead, I’ve been spending every free moment playing Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt.

M: I literally haven’t played anything this month but I have watched a lot of Sims streams on twitch.

Music:

C: As you can see from my favourite book and game of this month, I’ve been in a little bit of a Witcher mood and so the album I listened to the most was the soundtrack to the Netflix adaptation of The Witcher.

M:
I have been stuck in a bit of a rut when it comes to music this month. I haven’t listened to anything new.

Product:

C: I finally got myself a Wild refillable deodorant and I genuinely love the smell and its packaging.

M: I don’t think I have started using anything new this month as I am still loving all my current favourites.

Food:

C: My sister has been home from university this month and so we’ve had all sorts of delicious foods that we wouldn’t eat on a regular basis, so this question is really tough this month, but I think my favourite thing was cheese fondue.

M: This month I made a new recipe for the blog which was delicious. Lapingachos, are an Ecuadorian cheese stuffed potato pattie.

Place:

C: I went to a local garden centre and picked up a load of plants, both flowers and vegetables.

M: Now that the restrictions are starting to ease in England I have ventured out a little further than the previous months. A definite highlight was a bottomless brunch at a local pub with a group from work I hadn’t seen in months.
