They Both Die At The End ~ Adam Silvera

I was a little dubious going into this read for a few reasons, it had been so hyped all over social media that I was worried I wouldn’t feel the same and the fact that the title literally gives away the ending made me anxious about whether I would just be disappointed when I eventually got to the end. However, They Bith Die At The End by Adam Silvera very quickly proved me wrong.

We follow both Mateo Torrez and Rufus Emeterio a little after midnight on September 5th. They have both received the call that no one wants, from Death-Cast. Today they will both die. Becoming friends on their end day after joining the app Last Friend we see them live a lifetime together in the space of just one day.

The story of Mateo and Rufus was so meaningful from start to finish, Silvera took this moment that should have been so heartbreaking and turned it into a poetic masterpiece. I feel like this is a book that will stay with me for some time to come as I often find myself thinking about it. He highlighted how you can make something beautiful even out of your darkest moments. I gave this book a 4.75 ⭐️ rating and the only reason I did not give it a 5 ⭐️ is because I just wanted to keep reading.
