Monthly Favourites: November
The end of November is nearly upon us, so we thought we’d let you know what we’ve been loving this month.
Book:
C: These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong
M: The House on Hoarder Hill by Mikki Lish and Kelly Ngai
TV/Movie:
C: I started watching La Casa de Papel but due to doing other things whilst watching I’ve struggled to read the subtitles. Other than that, I’ve watched a lot of Formula One due to there being a lot of races this month.
M: After starting the new series of Who Do You Think You Are? I have been watching a lot of older episodes that I haven’t seen before on BBC player.
Game:
C: I haven’t played much this month but I did start playing It Takes Two with my sister and so far it’s been very fun.
M: This month I have become rather addicted to playing Crossy Road on my phone.
Album:
C: My favourite band, The Amazing Devil, released their third album, Ruin, this month and I haven’t listened to anything else since.
M: The end of this month have definitely consisted of me getting a tad over-emotional listening to Adele’s new album and all the interviews she has been doing lately.
Product:
C: I haven’t really used anything new this month, so it’s probably going to have to be hand cream because this chilly weather is not helping my hands.
M: I have loved using the Imperial Leather shower gel in the scent of Moroccan Sunset, which smells incredible.
Food:
C: I was able to go into town at the beginning of the month and bought myself a lot of yoghurt blueberries which are probably my favourite food ever.
M: The food highlight of the month for me is that McDonald’s have bought back my favourite cheese dippers.
Place:
C: I spent a weekend visiting family that I hadn’t seen since my grandmother’s funeral at the end of 2019. It was nice to see them all and catch up on everything that had happened since.
M: A curry night out with the girls from work was a highlight of November for me. Consisted of lots of laughter and prosecco!
