Monthly Favourites: June

Somehow, it’s the last Friday of the month once again. So, like every other month this year, here’s a look into our favourites.

Book

C: Percy Jackson and the Titan’s Curse by Rick Riordan

M: Paper Girls by Brian K. Vaughan, Cliff Chiang and Matt Wilson

TV Show:

C: After my TikTok becoming very formula one heavy (partially because I liked a few things to show my dad who follows it) I decided to binge Drive to Survive on Netflix and found myself getting back into F1.

M: Finally got around to watching the final Season of Criminal Minds and I don’t think I’ll ever emotionally recover!

Game:

C: Started the month playing Witcher 3: Blood and Wine dlc but haven’t played a huge amount of games at all this month.

M: I haven’t played much on my PC this month but have become very addicted to doing crosswords on my phone.

Album:

C: Can’t really choose an album for this month but I have listened to quite a bit of AJR.

M: I am still absolutely loving Sour both Olivia Rodrigo and have thoroughly enjoyed getting back into podcasts this month.

Product:

C: Simple’s revitalising eye roll-on is probably one of the few things making me get through the day without my eyes feeling too tired.

M: Not really a product per say but I haven’t been able to get through the day without an antihistamine and some eye drops due to my hay fever.

Food:

C: I made a gorgeous chicken, spinach and bacon pasta Alfredo earlier this month and it was delicious.

M: I haven’t really tried anything new this month but have enjoyed being able to eat out for dinner now that more places have started to open.

Place:

C: Just being able to go into town and have lunch at an indoor cafe with a friend has been quite a nice thing to be able to do again.

M: I cannot think of anywhere new that I have been this month. Since going back to work at the end of May it has been pretty non stop and very strange trying to get back into my work routine.
