Five Years From Now ~ Paige Toon

“One day, maybe five years from now you’ll look back and understand why this happened…” Nell and Van’s worlds collide when their mum and dad fall in love. 5 years of childhood together before it is all torn apart. Over the next two decades fate and circumstance bring these two closer together and at times further apart. Was it just the right person but at the wrong time or are they destined to be together?

The way in which the two main characters, Nell and Van, are built across the pages is just beautiful. By the end I felt like I knew them both inside and out, like they were my friends. Even though so much focus is put on developing these two we still learn a lot about the secondary characters too which just adds to the heartfelt plot.

I love how this didn’t feel like just any old love story. There were so many highs and lows which drew you into the drama. It grew and grew, from a childhood story to something much more mature which was refreshing to say the least.

I feel everyone should at least read this beautiful book once in their life. I would give ‘Five Years From Now’ 100 stars if I could but ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ will just have to do.
