WHAT

Murdered at least 9 victims and the attempted murder of a least 31.

HOW 

Multiple methods of murder including strangulation and stabbing by scissors. Was thought to have drunk the blood of his victims.

WHY

Sadistic sexual gratification and vengeance against society.

NOW

Executed by guillotine in July 1931 in Cologne. His head was bisected and mummified. It is on display in Wisconsin’s Ripley’s Believe it or Not!
